How are you different from Uber & Lyft?
There are many differences in the quality of service you will receive from rideshare programs. One difference is that you are assured you will have a guaranteed ride and will know who your chauffeur is ahead of time for your travel. Secondly, the vehicle that you will be riding in has routine maintenance, is frequently inspected by the state for safety, and has limo insurance to ensure that you (and your belongings) will arrive safely at your destination. All of MnSota’s chauffeurs also go through a background check and a drug screening process so you know your drivers are able to get you to your destination and that you are safe on the entire trip.
Is gratuity included in my total payment?
No, MnSota Transportation believes gratuity should not be forced onto its clients. If you believe the service was great then please feel free to tip your chauffeur. Additionally, you can ask for it to be included in your total payment when booking the trip.
Are there an additional fees?
MnSota Transportation is not Ticketmaster and does not believe in any additional hidden fees. The quoted price will be the total price of your travel. The only fee you will see is an airport fee as the airport requires the Limousine Industry to pay for parking at the airport. If you’re running late, there will be an additional wait time and the rate will switch to an hourly rate rather than a trip rate.
*There is an overnight service fee for trips that fall between the hours of 11 p.m – 5 a.m. but this will be made clear in the quoted price
Do you have services available during the holidays?
Yes, MnSota Transportation operates 24/7. *As a note: on major holidays, rates will be double, this ensures the chauffeurs will receive double pay, because we are taking them away from their families.
How can I get a ride to/from the Minneapolis St. Paul Airport?
Click on the book now tab and input all your trip information. You will then receive an e-mail confirmation when accepted.
What if my flight is delayed?
We know it is stressful when your flight plans are delayed or canceled, so do not worry, we track your flight and adjust the arrival time accordingly. This is why it is important to include your flight number when creating a reservation.
What if my group is more than 6 people?
Not an issue at all; we can book your large group another SUV to accommodate your party size.
What is the difference between Sedan and SUV rates?
The sedan rate accommodates 1-3 passengers plus one piece of luggage per passenger. The SUV rate accommodates 4-6 passengers plus two pieces of luggage per passenger.
Can you drive for a wedding or birthday party?
Yes, please inform us about the event and we will make arrangements for these special days. Some of the arrangements can include (but are not limited to) a red-carpet experience, premium beverages, and special signage.
Can I request a specific chauffeur?
Yes, MnSota will do its best to accommodate these kinds of requests however it depends on chauffeur availability.
Can you drive a small group?
Yes, currently we can accommodate any passenger count from 1-12 passengers.
Are car seats available?
Yes, please make your request when you book. Also please make sure to note which type of car seat you need such as an infant, toddler, or booster seat.
How far outside of the Twin Cities do you drive?
No trip is too far, feel free to make these kinds of requests. You can then expect a follow-up phone call to go over the entirety of the reservation.
